Thomas considers himself somewhat of a landscape “purist”, in which he aims to document the world in a way that holds true to its organic forms. By doing so, Thomas’ goal as a photographer is to envelop a sense of awe in his audience, showing them the possibilities of our natural world captured in a moment that might often be missed. With technological and industrial developments that improve our everyday lives so actively, it is easy to forget the amazing ways Earth has developed before us and what we should preserve as well.  Thomas wants his audience to be halted by awe and impact. His photographs capture the world in a way we typically miss, such as by capturing the intricacies of a plant’s pubescent leaves, or the structure of a mountain passage perfect for entering the viewing of a beautiful landscape.

Thomas graduated from UNLV with a Bachelor of Art with a concentration in photography in May of 2023. Thomas was born in the Bay Area, and slowly moved down California to eventually end up in Las Vegas, Nevada. Growing up in a multitude of various landscapes, Thomas developed the passion to explore the world around him and document the beauty of these locations.
